Silat Cekak is one of the niche area subjects in IIUM. It offers 2 credit hours for 4 semesters (0.5 credit hour for each semester). The subjects in silat cekak niche area are:

📗 Silat Cekak Niche Area Level 2 (CCCN 2562)
📘 Silat Cekak Niche Area Level 3 (CCCN 3561)
📙 Silat Cekak Niche Area Level 4 (CCCN 3562)

💫 During this event, we will explain to you all about silat cekak niche area and also provide some study plans for you, so that it will ease you all to complete your cocuriculum subjects.

28/1/2022, Thursday – Majlis Ijazah Seni Silat Cekak with YM Guru Utama, Datuk Haji Maideen Bin Kadir Shah was held at Bangunan Silat Cekak, Sentul, Kuala Lumpur yesterday. Around 19 members participated in the Majlis Ijazah Asas, 10 members participated in the Majlis Ijazah Potong and 10 TP present during the Majlis Ijazah. At 6pm, the members assembled and marched to the Bangunan Silat Cekak, Sentul, Kuala Lumpur together.

Initially, Majlis Ijazah is a ceremony whereby the new Silat Members meet YM Guru Utama Persatuan Seni Silat Cekak Malaysia. It also serves as an early introduction between the Guru Utama and the new members.

We hope that each member of PSSCMIIUM will be more devoted to learn the discipline of Seni Silat Cekak until end of the syllabus. Therefore, we hope every member takes advantage of this precious opportunity to improve themselves and become better for society, religion and family.

PSSCMIIUM has conducted a first physical training class at Moot Court, AIKOL, IIUM yesterday. Around 16 members and 4 TP present during the training class. The class start from 9.45 pm and end at 10.45 pm to gathered for a class adjournment.

Physical training class is very significant to PSSCMIIUM because the members can finally practise physically after learning silat cekak online for a year. Therefore, we hope more students can attend the training class together in the future.

12 Rabiulawal 1443H is a day that must be remembered by all muslims over the world. Every year we celebrate the day of the prophet coming into this world as a sign that we love him dearly, and indeed we are the Ummah of the Prophet Muhammad S.A.W.

‘Manhaj Rabbani, Kualiti Ummah’ is the theme of this year’s national celebration of Maulidur Rasul. It motivates us to prioritize Allah in everything we do in our life (practising the value of Rabbani), just like Rasulullah who always remember & love Him.

Let’s Selawat everyday, not only during the special days.

As Allah S.W.T. said in Surah Al-Ahzab (verse 56);

إِنَّ اللَّهَ وَمَلَائِكَتَهُ يُصَلُّونَ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا صَلُّوا عَلَيْهِ وَسَلِّمُوا تَسْلِيمًا

“Surely Allah and the angels bless the Prophet. O’ you who believe, let you salawat for him and greet him with respect”.

May the good deeds of the Prophet Muhammad inspire and lead us towards a blessed life ! 🤲
